On Wednesday, an abandoned structure in Lagos State’s Ilupeju, Palmgroove neighborhood fell.
The building at 15, Oke Arin Street, off Shyllon Ilupeju, reportedly fell at around 1:07am.

Dr. Oluwafemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the Permanent Secretary of LASEMA, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, acknowledged the occurrence.
He claimed that in the wee hours of today, the abandoned building fell to the ground.

“Fortunately, no loss of life. However, one adult male sustained minor injury and has been taken to hospital.
“The affected building has been cordoned off in order to prevent any threat,” he said in a statement.
