Wife of the Lagos State Governor Dr. (Mrs.) Claudina Sanwo-Olu and wife of the deputy Governor, Mrs. Oluremi Hamzat on Friday, September 4, 2020 visited the site of the ongoing redevelopment of Jakande Fruits Market in Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
Dr. Sanwo-Olu who said that by the end of the construction, the market will help improve the trading in the area.
The First Lady went further to commend the Council boss, Princess Bada for her determination and effort to give the largest fruits market in Lagos a better look.
Dr. Sanwo-Olu inspected the ongoing project in company of the State Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Dr. Wale Hammed and President (General) of Nigerian Market Men and Woman, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, Chairperson of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Mrs Muyibat Balogun, vice chairman, Alhaji Mukail Adisa, Councilors and political leaders in the area.
