Three Directors of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA have been handed termination letters with the merger of some Directorates in the Authority.
Investigation revealed that after an emergency meeting today Wednesday, September 2, 2020 by the Aviation Minister, the directors affected were handed their termination letters.
One of the Directors in charge of the Consumer Protection earlier resigned last week and his resignation letter was accepted at the meeting.
Today’s meeting has seen the merger of the Consumer Protection Directorate, CPD, with the Directorate of Air Transport Regulation, DATR and General Aviation merged with Directorats of Air Worthiness Standards DAWS.
Others merged are the Directorate of the Directorate of Operations and Training, DOTS merged with Directorat of Licensing Standards
Directorates not merged are that of Human Resources and Administration and Finance and Account and the Directors heading them retained.
