Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Saturday, August 8, 2020 announced the discharge of 32 COVID-19 patients from various isolation centres in the State.
Sanwo-Olu said that the patients are 12 females and 20 males including 5 foreign Nationals were discharged from various Isolation facilities to reunite with the society after been tested negative for COVID-19.
The patients whom were discharged include one from Agidingbi lsolation centre; eight from Onikan lsolation centre ; five from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; nine from Gbagada lsolation centre , four from Vidic Centre and five from LUTH Isolation Centres.
This was according to a statement issued by the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu exhorting Lagosians not to be afraid of the global pandemic, noting that the State Government under his watch has deployed all financial, material and human resources needed to combat the virus.
He also urged Lagosians to continue to observe the COVID – 19 protocols in other to curb community transmission of the virus.
