Ahead of opening of religion houses in Lagos from Friday, Mosques and Church in Surulere Constituency one have been fumigated to ensure safety of worshippers.
A member of the Lagos State house of Assembly, Mr Elliot Desmond who represents the area said that he took up the responsibility to assist the religious home because of his concern for the people of his Constituency.
Mr Desmond stated that as a representative of the people, interest of his constituents are more Paramount in his mind above any other interest. He advised the religious leaders to ensure that worshippers abide with the State Government regulations while coming to Church and Mosque.
The law maker also challenged Community organizations to monitor those religion houses and ensure that they complied with COVID-19 protocols.
