As schools prepares for reopening this week to graduating students, parents of students in private secondary schools in Ogun State on Sunday protested against the request of N25,000 civic-19 test fee by the Government.
Some of the parents who took to the streets, described the decision of the Government as disheartening and inconsiderate.
The dissatisfied parents who converged at the MTR 250 bed specialist hospital, Oke – Mosan, Abeokuta designated to Abeokuta students.
The parents who complained low patronage in their various businesses and difficulties in raising funds, said that requested N25,000 for covid-19 test shows that Government careless about its citizens.
It will be recalled that the State Government had insisted that no boarding school student will be allowed to resume without a valid negative COVID-19 test result.
