Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has ordered the reopening of places of worship in Lagos, starting from August 7.
The Governor also increases public gatherings capacity from 20 to 50 people.
Sanwo-Olu confirmed this during a media briefing on Saturday.
While churches and mosques will be allowed to reopen, nightclubs will remain shut.
Lagos earlier said it spends between 500,000 and N1 million daily on each of the severe COVID-19 patient, a
declaration that has since generated controversy.
Sanwo-olu has on Friday Urged Lagosians to “calm down” because according to him, the curve would start to flatten beginning from August.
