Muslims should use the opportunity of the Eid-el Kabir to appease Allah to safe the country from continue spreading of coronavirus pandemic.
The Chairman of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, Lagos branch, Alhaji Musa Muhammad made the call in his sallah message issued in Lagos. He said the prayer become necessary because of the damage the virus has done to the country’s social and economic development. Alhaji Muhammad stated that thousands had lot jobs while many small scale traders man have been sent out of business . The RTEAN boss also urged Muslims to celelebrate Salah in accordance with the government protocol of using facemask , regular washing of hands and keeping of social distance. He saluted the Mr Babajide Sanwolu.
He warned all members RTEAN to always abide by the State Transportation laws and they must not use the opportunity of Salah to to increase transport fares
