The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency ( LASEMA) confirmed the death of a man and three others injured, in a gas explosion at Palm groove Estate area, Lagos.
The Director-General of LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Osanyintolu who confirmed the incident said on Monday, July 27, 2029 that the agency received a distress call around 6.pm that a gas has exploded at Palm groove Estate, Cappa avenue, Lagos.
He said that a gas cylinder used in filling an outdoor air conditioner of a storey building exploded as a result of suspected leakage in the cylinder.
Osanyintolu added that LASEMA response team, officers of the Nigerian Police, Lagos State Fire Service and other personnels are responders at the scene of the incident.
“This accident result to the death of a 30 year old male, Usman Bello, while the other three men sustained different degree of injuries.
