Residents of Ijeshatedo in Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area have applauded Lagos State Government and the Council Chairman for the ongoing rehabilitation of some of the roads in the Community.
They expressed their appreciation when the Council Chairman, Dr. Olarenwaju Apatira, visited the sites, to inspect the level of work done.
Dr. Apatira said Otun-Oba Bus-Stop, on Lawanson road which had been a spot noted for gridlock in recent times was also identified for repairs, to bring succour to motorists along that route.
Anjorin and Abiodun Wright street, which are major streets connecting the area with Mushin and Ojuelegba are undergoing rehabilitation, while some inner streets such as Irepodun Avenue have been tarred in the last few months.
Residents however appeal to the authorities to pay attention to deteriorating state of other major roads like Omilani and IJesha road, which have been neglected for years.
