The Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Mr Aramide Adeyoye has warned trucks which are not road Worthy to stay- off from Lagos State, during the repair work on the third Mainland bridge, so as not to compound the traffic gridlock in the State.
Speaking in a chat with newsmen in lkeja, Mrs Adeyoye who explained that massive road rehabilitation works are on going across the State, despite the heavy downpour of rain, said trucks will not be allowed to pack on bridges in the State.
She called for attitudinal change on the part of the people towards Government projects, by taking ownership of the projects to increase their life span.
She lamented that funds that would have been allocated to new projects in Lagos, is being used to repair roads, due to poor environmental practices of Lagosians.
