The Taraba State Governor Ishaku has declared Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as work free days in the State in preparation for the Local Government election slated for 30th June, 2020.
The declaration was contained in a statement by the Chief press secretary to the Governor of the State ,Hassan Mijinyawa in the early hours of Monday, June 29, 2020.
Miyinjawa said the purpose of the three work free days is to enable residents of the State to participate in the Local Government election.
“The work free days from Monday 29 June, 2020 to Wednesday, 1st of July, 2020.
“This is to enable civil servant in the State to travel to their respective wards and vote during the forthcoming local Government election.
The Governor also urge residents of the State to maintain peace and orderliness during and after the election.
