Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Thursday dismissed the suit seeking the withdrawal of Certificates of return issued to Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
Justice Ahmed Mohammed said that the issue had been laid to rest after Justice Othman Musa an High Court in Abuja deliver a judgement in the matter asking to pay a N300,000 cost against the plaintiff each.
Justice Muhammad however describe the suit as an abuse to court process.
Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who is the current Deputy President of the House of Senate representing Delta Central, certificate of return was asked to be withdrawn by a group, the Incorporated Trustees of Empowerment for Unemployed Youth Initiative on May 19th.
The group alleged that senator Omo-Agege was incompetent, unfit to hold the position as a result of the conviction hanging over his neck.
