The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has buried the Corpse of a 19 year old girl drowned away by flood around Surulere Low-Cost Housing Estate.
The body which was recovered dead after being swept away by flood on 22nd of June 2020 was buried beside a canal at Onilegogoro area in Surulere.
The Director-General LASEMA Dr. Olufemi Osanyintolu disclosed this in an interview with NAN correspondent in Lagos.
The deceased whom was identified as Aisha, was reportedly swept by a flood around 12 p.m. in the estate as a result of heavy downpour of June 22nd and attempt to recover the victim was abortive on the same day.
Dr. Osanyintolu however, said that the body was found dead at a canal in Onilegogoro area around 8:30a.m. the next day.
“She was buried by Community members beside the canal at Onilegogoro in Surulere”
