Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki on Saturday 20 June, 2020 said that anyone who violate orders on restriction of social gathering more than 20 persons shall be arrested.
Governor Obaseki who frowned at the proposed Governorship primary election of the All Progress Congress (APC) slated for next week, said that anybody who step on the soil of Edo State for the election shall be quarantine.
Adding that the restriction on inter state movement in Edo State remains as part of measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 in the State.
Also in another development, the embattled Governor of Edo State Godwin Obaseki claim he still enjoys the support and sympathy of Governors elected on the platform of APC.
According to him, dignitaries and well meaning Nigerians has shown support for his ambition, adding that “they are all united against injustice”
