The minister of interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on Tuesday, debunked claims of grudge with the national leader of All Progressive Congress(APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The minister while speaking in Abuja describe such claim by an online publication as lies and lack basis. He also dismissed claims of nursing presidential ambition in 2023 noting that his loyalty to the national leader of the party Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remain nonnegotiable.
“The group, our detractors claim has been banned is the most committed to the realization of Asiwaju’s ambition.”
“They even said I have presidential ambition. False!” Aregbesola reiterated that APC is one, adding that the party is like an oak tree that keeps growing.
He stressed that his goal is to execute his ministerial duties as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari for the betterment of the citizenry.
He however urged his supporters to ignore the publication in its entirety and refrain from being distracted from the goal of building a strong APC as well as a united Nigeria.
