A group of Nigerians working under the aegis of Coalition of Civil Society Organisation and Political Parties for Good Governance (CCSOPPGG) stormed the European Union office in Abuja to demonstrate against its report on the February 25, 2023 presidential election, which caused them concern.
The EU had earlier condemned the general elections in 2023 in a report, citing violence, murder, and vote-buying as some of the reasons for its condemnation.

The demonstrators marched from the Central Area to the European Union’s offices in the Federal Capital Territory while carrying many placards with various slogans.
At the EU headquarters, where the peaceful march came to an end, the group’s leaders spoke to EU officials.
After addressing union officials and receiving a commitment from one of them to convey the protesters’ message to the Union, the gathering dispersed from the EU offices where the peaceful march had come to an end.
