Anyone who believes they can remove President-elect Bola Tinubu is just putting themselves through a nightmare, according to former governor of Ekiti State Ayo Fayose.
Recalls that on Tuesday, the PDP’s Atiku Abubakar and the LP’s Peter Obi both filed formal petitions at the presidential elections tribunal in Abuja contesting the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the country’s next president.
The results of the February 25 presidential election were declared in favour of Tinubu, the APC’s standard bearer.
Obi earned 6,101,533 votes, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 6,984,520, and Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) 8,794,726 votes. Tinubu was pronounced the winner by INEC.

In response to those attempting to overturn the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) decision, Fayose stated that such an endeavour would be fruitless. He claims that since the elections are over, these people are only daydreaming.
Fayose stated: ‘’I am not desperate for an appointment. I have been governor twice. I am contented but for anybody to say he will unseat Ahmed Bola Tinubu, you are daydreaming. It is a nightmare you are putting yourself through. That election has come and gone.’’
