Bola Tinubu was defeated in the presidential election by Peter Obi in Lagos, according to Labour Party leader Kenneth Okonkwo.
LP Presidential Campaign Council spokesman Okonkwo, a seasoned Nollywood actor, congratulated Nigerians and Obi’s followers, known as Obidients, on the former Anambra governor’s win on Monday while referring to Tinubu as the Goliath of Lagos.

The well-known biblical giant Goliath, a champion of the Philistines, stood six cubits and a span tall.
Okonkwo asserted: “The Goliath and religious bigot of Lagos State has been defeated in Lagos by the Obidients despite all electoral shenanigans.
“A new Nigeria is possible. Hold unto God, He will see us through. Congratulations to Obidients,” the legal practitioner tweeted.
Obi won with 582 354 votes in Lagos, surpassing Tinubu’s 572 606; Rabiu Kwankwaso, the NNPP candidate, received 8,442 votes.
There are claims that if the poll had taken place in Lagos with peace and order, the LP flagbearer would have won more votes.
