SP Mojeed Salami, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of the Seme Police Division in Lagos State, passed away on January 10 after collapsing in his office.
Police sources claim that the deceased went to the hospital on the day in question after complaining of a headache. The DPO came back, but she was still not feeling good. He wanted to depart, but not before giving the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) the formal papers. He requested his orderly to tell the DCO to come to his office.

The dead was reportedly found on the floor gasping for air when the orderly came back. He was rushed to the Badagry General Hospital and pronounced dead there.
He passed away on Tuesday, according to SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesperson for the state police, who confirmed the occurrence. Everyone was shocked because there was nothing seriously wrong with his health. They said that he only complained of a little headache, visited a hospital, and then returned.
