Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s nominee for president, has urged his supporters to accept the donations made by rival political parties while continuing to support him.
The money was “stolen” by those in power, according to the Labour Party candidate who made the announcement on Thursday at the Labour Party presidential rally in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Let me tell you, the money they are giving you is yours. Take it, eat it, and cast your vote for me, he urged.
I’ll offer you money in the form of employment, access to healthcare and education, the functioning of society, and financial success. A child of no one will be able to lead our nation as president in a secure society I wish to create.
Obi also stated his desire to unite Nigeria and transition it from a consumer society to a producer one.
He promised to resurrect Nigeria in the same way that he had “revived dead enterprises” in the past and encouraged Nigerians to hold him accountable.
