The Muslim/Muslim ticket would create a new tone in the Nigerian political landscape in 2023, according to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate.
The wife of the presidential candidate suggested that Nigeria may soon see a Christian-Christian ticket in regard to the issue surrounding the Muslim-Muslim pairing in the APC.

She made the forecast at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos during the APC South West Women presidential rally.
She also conveyed Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the First Lady of Nigeria, who was supposed to attend the ceremony but wasn’t present at the gathering.
“As regards the Muslim/Muslim ticket, this one will set the tone for the future. Sometime in the future, we will have a Christian/Christian ticket. What God has done is marvelous in our land”.
“We thank you for coming out in large numbers despite the challenges. My coming here is another homecoming. About 23 years ago, God bless my husband to become the governor, I supported him as the first lady.”
I want to thank the people of Lagos Central for appointing me to represent them, said Mrs. Tinubu, who described the event as a homecoming for her. I’m the first female senator to win three elections. This is a fantastic chance. Since my husband left government in 2007, I have continued to strive for the welfare of our population.
God rewards good deeds, and God is the one who is doing this to us. He appeases people without their knowledge, but heaven is watching.
Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, the first lady of Lagos, claimed that Nigeria needs a leader of Tinubu’s political savviness to run the country in 2023.
She said that promoting the much-desired gender balance would be possible through the upcoming election.
