Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential’s candidate, has allayed concerns over his same-faith ticket by asserting that he has no plans to Islamize Nigeria.
He said he dares not run for president against the interests of his wife Remi and other Christian family members. Tinubu made these comments on Wednesday at a presidential interaction session with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

The former governor of Lagos predicts that if he runs for president against Remi, his Christian wife, he will lose.
“The rumour that this is a plot to suppress the Christian community is untrue and is unfortunate. I don’t have that agenda.
“Sitting next to me is my wife, an assistant pastor… I cannot dare contest this presidency against her in my house because I will lose. They all go to church on Sundays and leave me alone,” he added.
