Salisu Yusuf, the head coach of the U-23 Eagles, has selected 18 players for his team’s AFCON qualifiers against Tanzania.
Success Makanjuola, a former Flying Eagles striker, Promise David, a player for Sirens FC in Malta, and Adeyemo Emmanuel of FC Vizela in Portugal are a few of the international athletes who made the cut.
The first leg will take place in Dar es Salaam on Saturday, with the return match scheduled for the Lekan Salami Stadium in Adamasingba, Ibadan one week later. The players and their officials will be travelling to Dar es Salaam for the first game today.
Yusuf selected the squad of 18 players for his team’s AFCON qualifiers against Tanzania today, October 20, 2022, choosing a mix of local and foreign-based players.
