Nnamdi Kanu, the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group that has been outlawed, won’t be present in court on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Kanu’s lead attorney, made this announcement in a statement on Saturday, stating that the IPOB leader’s case will be heard at the Federal High Court in Umuahia, Abia State.
As a result, the attorney requested that people ignore any orders to stay at home, claiming that Kanu did not agree with them.
Ejiofor stated that on Tuesday, South-East people should go about their regular business and that the general public would be appropriately notified when Kanu was expected to appear in court.

“As such, Onyendu neither directed, approved nor authorized anyone to declare a sit-at-home on that date.
“Members of the general public are advised to go about their normal business activities on this said date.”
