Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, is an IPOB-compliant candidate, according to Reno Omokri, a former assistant to former president Goodluck Jonathan.
Omokri, who spoke on Channels TV’s Politics Today, ruled out the candidacy of Obi, claiming that he (Obi) is never going to make a decent leader. He charged the “Obidient” movement with slavishly adhering to the IPOB leadership’s order to stay at home.
For campaigning to Nigerians living abroad who are unable to vote, Omokri claims Obi lacks political knowledge.
“IPOB had a sit at home yesterday (Tuesday), and Obidients who hold meetings every day chose to follow the order yesterday, Peter Obi also obeys this order,” he claimed. This demonstrates that they are abiding more by IPOB than by our constitution.

Omokri contended that Obi is a political paperweight who will only garner support from the country’s South-East.
He claimed that Obi’s supporters had turned to cyberbullying and were powerless to shake up the political landscape in time for the 2023 presidential race.
