Speaking to reporters on Tuesday at the party’s secretariat, Nze Duru, the deputy national organising secretary, shot down the rumour that Adamu and the presidential candidate were at odds.
There is no power struggle over positions, he declared. Nothing like that has occurred. The candidate and the party are cooperating. However, it is crucial to note that we concurred on the DG and spokesman.
The structures at the zones will be under the governors’ jurisdiction. No one can be barred from the celebration, and it won’t even do that. A welcoming and inclusive campaign council will be in place. There isn’t any conflict anyplace. More significantly, the party chairman supported the DG and spokesman positions.
