Goodluck Jonathan, a former president of Nigeria, has urged for scholarships for bright young Africans who live in poverty.
The decision was made by Jonathan during his speech at the 11th graduation ceremony of the Cavendish University Uganda (CUU), Kampala, Uganda.
In his remarks on Friday, August 26, 2022, Jonathan, the University’s Chancellor, gave the University assurances of his ongoing support.
We shall keep putting our efforts toward reducing obstacles that prevent many outstanding African adolescents from attending higher education because of their poor earnings.
