The Guards Brigade members who were killed by terrorists in the Bwari neighborhood of Abuja while protecting President Muhammadu Buhari have been buried.
On July 25, 2022, as the 7 Guards Battalion was out on a routine patrol along the Kubwa-Bwari road, terrorists attacked the soldiers, InsightnaijaTV reports.

When they encountered the soldiers, the terrorists were reportedly on their way to the Nigerian Law School in Bwari.
During the event, there was a shooting match that resulted in the deaths of Captain Attah Samuel and four other soldiers.
Thursday saw the burial of Captain Samuel and the other troops at the Guards Brigade Cemetery in Maitama, Abuja.
