In response to the death case involving his signee and driver, Nigerian musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, has expressed outrage over the reportedly enormous amount of money the police are asking.
As previously reported by InsightnaijaTV, Portable claimed in an interview on Tuesday that he was not at blame for the death of a motorcyclist who was struck by his vehicle.
The artist added that he was not in the vehicle when the tragic incident occurred, saying that he was instead attending his child’s naming ceremony.
However, he expressed sympathy to the victim’s families over the tragic occurrence and pledged to provide financial support.
However, Portable requested the support of his admirers in a video that was recently spotted online, claiming that he had been drawn into the man’s murder.
Portable acknowledged that his recently signed artist was responsible for the collision, but the police still wouldn’t let him pick up his car when he arrived at the station.
The Police are reportedly demanding five million Naira from Portable, but he hasn’t been seen a corpse despite reports that the man has died.
