The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced that all presidential candidates will be screened forever.
As seen by InsightnaijaTV, the screening was slated for Monday, May 23.
The postponement was announced to the press on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to Morka, the party will announce a new date for the screening exercise.
He did not, however, provide an explanation for the change in the schedule.
According to him, “The Screening Exercise for Presidential Aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier scheduled to be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, is hereby postponed.
“A new date for the exercise will be announced shortly. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
InsightnaijaTV Reports that the APC has constantly broken its own calendar and plan of operations for the general election in 2023.
The postponement affects APC national leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Minister of Transportation Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, Senator Ajayi Boroffice, former Minister of Education State, Emeka Nwajuiba
