According to Iba Gani Adams, Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba country, there are signs that God is dissatisfied with Nigeria’s current state.
On Monday, Adams spoke at a press conference in Lagos to announce the lineup for the Eledumare Festival in 2022.
The event, according to the traditional leader, was organised “to honour and appease Almighty God.”
He went on to say that if the country stays on the path of fairness and justice, the event has the spiritual power to spark both economic growth and advancement.
Adams reiterated his call for Nigeria to be restructured to avoid collapse, lamenting that “the presidency and the power brokers have failed to heed the calls.”
“We can hardly make meaningful progress with the present situation. Things are going the wrong way on daily basis.
“Those that are in the best position to help salvage the nation from imminent collapse have lost touch with the people at the grassroots,” he complained.
