An emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting has been scheduled for March 17 by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Gov. Abubakar Bello, the Acting Chairman of the APC CECPC, Sen. Ken Nnamani (South-East), and Mrs Stella Okotete signed a notice of meeting (National Women Leader).
Sen. Aba Ali (North-West) and Prof. Tahir Mamman are two others (North-East).
At 11 a.m., a virtual NEC meeting will be place.
The decision to convene the meeting was made at the 23rd meeting of the APC Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) on Tuesday, InsightnaijaTV reports.
On March 26, the APC will hold its national convention.
According to them, the meeting is being held in accordance with Article 25B I and ii) of the Party Constitution, as well as the power granted to the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) by the NEC resolution of December 8, 2020.
