Kingsley Moghalu, a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and a presidential candidate in 2023, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs in Nigeria.
Moghalu remarked that the failure of government is to blame for the hardships that Nigerians are experiencing on Twitter on Sunday.
Petrol scarcity, a lack of electricity supply, ongoing ASUU strikes, and insecurity such as kidnappings, banditry, and terrorism are among the concerns he cited.
As a result, the former CBN Deputy Governor urged Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) and vote for the right candidates in the upcoming presidential and general elections in 2023.
He wrote: “Life in Nigeria today is very hard for Nigerians. From petrol scarcity to no electricity, from perpetual ASUU strikes and a dysfunctional education system to banditry, kidnapping, and Boko Haram, it is endless wahala. This is the case because of a basic failure of governance.
“We as citizens can change this situation simply by deciding to correct it, getting our #PVC and voting into elective office a competent, credible national leader who is not part of the Corruption & Sons Ltd.”
