The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced on Friday that the registration deadline for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination will not be extended (UTME).
The board’s Registrar, Prof. Is’haq Oloyede, announced this on Friday while overseeing the registration process at several centers around Lagos State.
According to his observations, feelers received by the board from states across Nigeria indicate that the process has gone smoothly and that an extension may not be conceivable.
The UTME registration session began on February 19 and will conclude on March 26.
“We’re not expecting any extension. I want to say that we are very happy with the way the exercise has been going, two weeks after it started,” Oloyede.
He stated that no complaints have been received regarding the code 55019, which is where candidates should send their NIN numbers.
