Bayern Munich midfielder Kingsley Coman scored in the 90th minute to earn a 1-1 draw in the Champions League last-16 first leg against Salzburg on Wednesday.
With a goal on the counterattack from Chukwubuike Adamu midway through the first half, the Austrians gained the lead.
After starting striker Noah Okafor was injured, Adamu, 20, came on in the 12th minute.
However, Coman, who scored the game-winning goal for Bayern in the 2020 Champions League final, ensured a point for the six-time champions when he came off the bench to meet a Thomas Mueller header and tuck the ball into the net from close range.
Bayern entered the match as overwhelming favourites after winning all six of their group-stage games, but they arrived in Austria reeling after a 4-2 Bundesliga thumping at Bochum.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side were held at bay early on by Salzburg, who reached for the Champions League knockout stage for the first time in their history under 33-year-old coach Matthias Jaissle in his first season in charge.
With an explosive breakaway play, the hosts struck first, with defender Oumar Solet dispossessing Bayern captain Mueller deep in his half and pumping a diagonal ball forward to Nicolas Capaldo on the right wing.
After being fed by Brenden Aaronson, the Argentine raced across the pitch and pushed the ball into Adamu, who shot into the far corner.
Bayern struggled to produce clear chances in the second half, but Leroy Sane’s low shot was parried by Salzburg goalkeeper Philipp Kohn, who then leaped up to swipe the loose ball from Serge Gnabry’s feet.
When Capaldo was denied by the foot of Sven Ulreich with 10 minutes remaining, and Adamu saw his drive saved off the line by Benjamin Pavard, Salzburg should have added a second goal to take to the second leg in Munich.
When Pavard delivered a cross into the box, Mueller glanced it towards the far post, where Coman was poised to head it in, the hosts went silent.
Hi! I know this is somewhat off-topic but I had to ask. Does operating a well-established blog like yours take a massive amount work? I’m completely new to operating a blog but I do write in my diary everyday. I’d like to start a blog so I can share my experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or tips for new aspiring bloggers. Appreciate it!
Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a entirely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Excellent choice of colors!

First off I want to say superb blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks!
