Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has revealed one expectation from Chelsea when his team tackle the Blues on Sunday in a Premier League tie at Stamford Bridge.
Klopp said he expects a really strong Chelsea side to face Liverpool despite the injury affecting their squad and positive COVID-19 issues.
The Reds boss said this during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Chelsea.
“I expect a really strong Chelsea side because, with all the struggles they have obviously injury-wise and COVID-wise, which I don’t know exactly about, they still have obviously a proper football team,” Klopp said.
He added, “Leicester gave us a good example: when it’s really intense, you have some problems, all these kinds of things, if you put a proper shift in, there’s always a chance in football and that’s what we will try as well.”
The kick-off time for the game is 5.30 pm.
Liverpool are currently in the third position on the Premier League table with one point behind second-place Chelsea.
