Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, the Speaker of the Kaduna House of Assembly, has revealed that a member of the state assembly, Rilwanu Aminu Gadagau, was killed by suspected bandits.
The circumstances behind Gadagau’s death are still unknown, but reports claim that he was slain near the Zaria-Kaduna Expressway while representing Giwa West.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday afternoon, the Speaker of the Kaduna Assembly confirmed the lawmaker’s death.
“It’s with a heavy heart that I write to Announce the Death of a friend a Colleague of mine in the Kaduna State House of Assembly Hon. Rilwanu Aminu Gadagau chairman House Committee on Local Government and Member Representing Giwa.
