The Federal High Court in Abuja has refused to give Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, his plea to be transferred from the Department of State Services to the Nigerian Correctional Centre.
Kanu has pleaded not guilty to the federal government’s seven-count revised terrorist charges, which were filed in the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Following his plea, his attorneys, led by Ifeanyi Ejiofor, informed Justice Binta Nyako that he had filed an application for his transfer from the Department of States Services facility to the Nigeria Correctional Centre in Kuje.
However, the application was turned down.
