Travelers arriving in Nigeria must produce a negative COVID-19 PCR test result obtained no more than 72 hours before to boarding, according to the SGF.
In-bound travellers who are unvaccinated or inadequately vaccinated will now be required to complete a mandatory 7-day self-isolation period, as well as a COVID-19 PCR test on days 2 and 7 following arrival.
In-bound travellers who are fully vaccinated will not be forced to adhere to the statutory 7-day self-isolation period, but will be asked to do a COVID-19 PCR test on their second day of arrival.
The amended travel guideline, Mustapha explained, was based on science, national experience, and global advancements.
