In Osogbo, the stage capital, the Amotekun corps in Osun State has apprehended Ridwan Kasali, an alleged ritual killer.
Kasali confessed to security officers that he kidnapped five children and took them to Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, where he murdered them, according to our source.
The culprit was reportedly apprehended by Amotekun Corps in Zone 6, Osogbo’s capital, after some citizens who had been watching his movements thought he was involved in illicit operations.
On Thursday, a local identified as Tomisin told journalists that the culprit was apprehended thanks to the state’s people’ alertness.
She said, “We saw him loitering around the neighbourhood and we challenged him. We found out that he did not have any genuine mission there.
” Amotekun was invited and he was handed over to them. The man confessed that he is a kidnapper before we handed him over to Amotekun.”
When contacted over the phone, Field Commander of Amotekun Corps, Osun State, Amitolu Shittu, confirmed the suspect’s detention.
He said, “We arrested a suspected kidnapper who confirmed that he kidnapped five children in Osun State and kill them in Ibadan. We have handed him over to the DSS.
