Hoodlums masquerading as members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, on Monday, September 27, 2021 set ablaze a bus conveying tomatoes, vegetables and other foodstuffs to the state capital for allegedly disobeying the sit-at-home order.

Enugu did not observe last Monday’s sit-at-home, though there was low traffic, however a shootout was later that day reported at the Garki suburb of Enugu metropolis.

The latest attack has brought to four buses conveying goods and foodstuffs that have been burnt in several parts of the South-East, in addition to several tricycles, shops and other properties allegedly destroyed by hoodlums for disobeying the sit-at-home order.
