There were gunshots recorded on Saturday at the Osun secretariat of the All Progressives Congress(APC) following a clash between supporters of some party stalwarts.
At about 4:15 pm, there was a conflict during the APC Congressional Appeals Committee meeting in Osobo, the state capital.

However, after a dispute between supporters at the exercise site, local security officials were forced to intervene and rescue committee members.

However, a committee member identified as Muyidin Ajetunmonbi sustained head injuries, while some committee members are reportedly still being held in the office.
