A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Engr. Joe Igbokwe has mocked the Yoruba Nation Activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho over his arrest by security operatives in Cotonou, Benin Republic, Tuesday, July 20, for immigration offences.
The Special Adviser for Drainage and Water Resources to Governor Babajide Sanwo- Olu displayed a photograph of Igboho wearing charms on his Facebook timeline and wrote;
“Juju no de work again ooo. It failed in Igbo land and it failed too in Yoruba land.”
Reacting, Igbokwe claimed Igboho’s arrest was an indication that “Juju” (charm) does not work.
Igboho, was arrested with his wife and the Benin Republic security agents have allegedly accused him of possessing the Country’s passport, sparking controversies.
