The roads are Oduduwa way, Oduduwa crescent, Oba Dosunmu and Sobo Arobiodu streets.
Mrs Adeyoye said the urban regeneration plans of the current administration is to return Ikeja GRA which used to be a clean, orderly and exclusively residential area to its former glory.
She said in recognition of the conversion of some of the houses in the GRA to commercial concerns, ranging from entertainment outlets to restaurants, bars and lounges, fancy hotels and suites, supermarkets and mini-marts, financial institutions and other private ventures, which had turned the GRA into a sprawling commercial centre, the Sanwo-Olu administration had last year awarded the upgrading of the roads under the under Ikeja Model City Plan to accommodate density, commercial and mix-development regeneration of public infrastructure, and improvement that would accelerate socio-economic development of the State
The Special Adviser who said the Ministry is working in conjunction with the Office of Drainage Services to address the flooding and infrastructural challenges added that upon completion of the on-going regeneration works, the problem of perennial flooding would also be permanently resolved.
