December has been set as a deadline for the delivery and official launch of all completed and ongoing projects in Epe Area of Lagos State.
The Chairman, Epe Local Government, Mr. Adesanya Adedoyin made this known during an inspection tour of all ongoing projects being carried out by the Local Government in different parts of Epe.
Mr. Adesanya who stated that the inspection became imperative to make sure contractors deliver the projects according to specification and to time.
He said although the pandemic, funds and weather affected the continuation of some of the projects, the Chairman expressed satisfaction at the pace of work done so far and urged others to ensure they increase their pace.
Mr. Adesanya expressed optimism that most of the projects are to improve the socio-economic wellbeing of Epe residents.
The ongoing projects visited includes Construction and rehabilitation of network of roads at Ayetutu, Jimoh Olakunle and Salabiu Lamidi streets, Vocational training centre, Papa, 7 Boreholes across all wards in Epe, Maternity centre at Erepoto, DPO and Officers quarters at Okeoyinbo police station, and Clearing and opening up of major drains in Papa.
