Peports reaching us says EndSARS protesters have shut down the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, preventing workers from gaining access into the premises in the early hours of today, Monday 19, October 2020
The protesters reportedly locked all the entrances to the secretariat and turned back motorists and pedestrians from coming out and going into the premises.
Commuters were seen stranded at many of the bus stops along the Ikeja axis as few commercial buses were seen on the road, while the protesters occupied Awolowo Road, Ikeja, Ikorodu Road and Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The protesters also closed the road leading to the National Stadium, Surulere by Teslim Balogun as well as Shitta Bridge inward Stadium.
