As part of efforts to bring back the lost glory of Agriculture, rekindle interests in it and to encourage students in pursuing University Courses in Agriculture, the Chancellor of Landmark University and the General Overseer of Winners Church, Dr. David Oyedepo, has waived tuition fees on Agricultural Science Courses in the Institution.
This is contained in a release from the University, signed by the Chancellor.
It says the gesture is to encourage all students who will decide to pick up interest in studying Agriculture and Agric related Courses in the Institution, in a bid by the University, to take Nigeria and Nigerians back to Agriculture, for food security.
Henceforth, Courses like Crop Science, Animal Science, Agric Extension and Rural Development, Agric Economics and Agri Business Management will be run free by the Institution.
Others include Courses like Environmental and Natural Science Economics, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management.
Landmark University is one of the highest scholarships awarding Universities in Nigeria and it is rated among the ten most equipped and best managed Universities in Nigeria, less than ten years since its was established as a private Institution in the Country.
