The lawmaker representing Badagry Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Babatunde Hunpe, on Friday 11th September 2020 paid a courtesy visit to Nigerian French Language Village in Badagry.
The lawmaker was welcomed by the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the village, Prof Lateef Babatunde Ayeleru.
Prof. Ayeleru commended the lawmaker for creating time out of his busy schedule to visit the institution.
The Director General informed Hon Hunpe that the letter he wrote to the Hon Minister of Education had yielded results, adding that development was coming to the village.
On the issue of Permanent Campus of the village, he appealed to the lawmaker to help facilitate the proper documentation of the land allocated to the institution with the state government.
The Director General of the village used the occasion of the visit to confer an honorary award of Fellow of the Nigeria French Language Village on the MHR and promised that the lawmaker would soon be decorated and the lawmaker is the first to be confer with the honorary award of Fellow of the village.
Ayeleru, however, took Honorable Hunpe round the campus to see some dilapidated building of the institution and the structure the Director General put in place at the institution within the shortest period he assumed office.
