Sadio Mane scored the opener as Liverpool overcame Aston Villa at Anfield despite an organised display from the visitors.
Jones, who on Saturday signed a four-year contract extension, sealed a 2-0 win for Liverpool after Sadio Mane had put the hosts ahead as Liverpool made it 24 consecutive home victories.
